Step two (optional)
Add context & guidance (optional)
(ONSCREEN) Step 2: Add context & guidance
Provide supporting facts, key headlines, statistics, quotes, or editorial direction. Anything you type here will be woven into the final prompt before script generation.
Step three
Script duration
(ONSCREEN) Step 3: Script Duration
Select how long the final narration should run. The Vox-style script will follow this pacing when outlining the Hook, Context, Core Explanation, Why It Matters, and Closing beats. SideKix uses hidden constraints to keep each option within these ranges, and you must choose one before generating a draft:
- 30 seconds → ~43-47 words (~275-300 characters)
- 60 seconds → ~86-94 words (~550-600 characters)
- 90 seconds → ~129-141 words (~825-900 characters)
This selection locks after you generate the first draft. Fetch a new article if you need to change the runtime.
Step four
Generate draft script
(ONSCREEN) Step 4: Generate Draft Script
Review the extracted article text, update the SideKix prompt if needed, then click Generate Draft Script. The Vox-inspired default prompt below reflects the latest SideKix Media request.

Step six (optional)
Copy edit
(ONSCREEN) Step 5: Copy Edit (Optional)
Conduct a quick copy edit and final review of the script before generating a voice over. SideKix locks the bracketed TTS tags while polishing grammar and clarity. Review (and edit) the returned draft before applying it back to your master script.
